"Out of balance" is how it's supposed to look.

Only if you entered 0.5 * cosecant(60 degrees) for the X and Z radii.

Why does everyone blame the program? This is a bug in your mind's
eye. For more fun of this kind, try looking at a dodecahedron. You
tend to think of these as approximately spherical, but from some
angles they look so much like footballs that you'd swear something
was wrong with the pro--oops, almost did it again.
